From the ditch

IT was a record turnout for the Pleneggy fun bowls held on Youth Day as 54 bowlers played with four club members, and a great time was had by all.

A big thank you to all who turned out for the day and an even bigger thank you to Pleneggy for its much appreciated sponsorship.

First prize on 4+26 was Keith Cowie, Nikki Auchinchlos and Aaron Powell.

Second on 4+21 points were Clive Edkins, Jenny Platt and Shamras Mahdras and third on 4+19 Jacques, Liesel and Jacqui Minnaar.

Tony Smith, Karen Cordy and Gerhard Balzer represented Greytown at Mooi River over the weekend and won two of their three matches.

Please check the board for games in the drawn pairs.

The greens are getting quite slick in the winter conditions, but are playing well.
