From the Ditch

GREYTOWN ladies had a close finish in the Niba ladies fours finals to come second to top players Rose Varty and her team.

The local ladies were Sannie and Mandy Balzer, Karen Cordy and Omo Dinkelmann - Erika Fischer was unable to make the team. Congratulations to what is now the second top team in the Midlands.

The next celebration is this Sunday when Jack Mason has his day of fun bowls. There was a record turn-out last year for this happy day - confirm whether you will be there as Jack will be cooking up, as usual, a very tasty meal, and needs to know numbers. Phone Bryan Paul on 033 413 2157.
