Greytown bowlers have been well represented in the national Niba championships. Tony Smith and his team playing in Margate came third. Omo Dinkelmann and her team, also in Margate came sixth, and well done to Omo who was chosen as player of the match three times.

In Cape Town Erika Fischer and her team came sixth – although they beat top team Sables, the latter were overall winners.

The Business league got under way in perfect weather last Thursday with all 12 teams having fun under the floodlights and then enjoying a meal together and lots of chat.

The Mascor sponsored mixed trips day took place in Wartburg on Sunday with teams from all over enjoying the well run day.

There were two sessions of 12 ends and a third session of 14 ends. The overall winners were Greytown star bowlers, Tony Smith, Karen Cordy and André Roberts.
