WHAT a final. The selected pairs final was a victory justification for Roy Thomson and Wolfie Lubowitski, who showed excellent form once again, to defeat Jack Drew and Karen Cordy to become the club champions for 2017. The nominated pairs starts this Saturday - each player enters with a partner, so let’s see how it runs.

The soup evening with darts and table tennis was a rousing success. Huge compliments all round, from the large crowd, to the ladies for the tasty range of soups and breads - something to tickle all taste buds.

Sunday saw Tony Smith and André Roberts competing in the Natal Inland singles championships - both did well and André made it through to the next round.

Next Wednesday, 9 August is a public holiday and Plennegy Print are sponsoring a fun day. Join in for lots of bowls, laughs and lunch. R60 per person and R40 for bowlers for lunch.
