WHAT a day. Greytown visited Howick – the club Umgeni Waterfall - for the league match, and Greytown conquered.

Tony Smith, André Roberts, Jacques Minnaar and Chris Fischer had a field day roaring away with a massive 31-9.

In the other team, Jack Drew, Clive Edkins, Bryan Paul and Wolfie Lubowitski battled the heavy greens, narrowly losing the first skin by one point, but went on to win the second and third skins.

So Greytown romped all the way home with 12 of the 13 points of the match.

Sunday turned out to be a fantastic fun day - thanks to Bracken for their generous sponsorship.

Winners of the first session were Omo Dinkelman, Mike Munitich and Mirelle. Second session went to Pam Paul, Murray Mason and Jack Mason. Overall winners were Clive Edkins, Kevin Williams and Paul Moolman.

Thanks to Mike Munitich, who put up a bottle of whisky to play nearest the bottle, won by Jacques Minnaar.

There were a couple of youngsters playing - two 10-year- old boys both of whom did extremely well.

Next fun day date is December 10 for the popular Jack Mason Christmas party.

The club is also gearing up for the year-end party - October 25 is the date. Please bring a snack or two for this festive occasion.
