WE couldn’t have foreseen the final results when we sent out donation requests in 2018 to paint manufacturers.

Ennis-Flint Africa provides the most comprehensive lineup of pavement marking solutions on the market today. They are the only manufacturer that responded and committed to the donation, so much so that they sent their construction consultant, Brian Isaacs, all the way from Roodepoort, Gauteng to see us. Little did we know that this was the start of a wonderful friendship with this conglomerate.

In April, Athol Agulhas (Ennis-Flint Africa Business Manager) and Nomonde Bulekiwe (Ennis-Flint Business Development Executive) paid us a welcome visit, and it felt like a re-union between old friends. We were quite amazed and thoroughly pleased by all the attention Ennis-Flint was giving our centre.

The moment of truth arrived on Monday, October 7 when Ennis-Flint sent Isaacs and his professional construction team fully loaded with paint that had been specially manufactured for the Umvoti Aids Centre.

In just a few short days our centre was painted, fisher boards were fixed, beams were painted and our centre was looking brand spanking new.

We are so grateful to the Ennis-Flint Africa team for loving us this much.

“So now I am giving you a new commandment: love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” — John 13:34-35.

That is exactly what Agulhas and his team have done; for which we will be forever grateful. — Supplied.
