Good luck to the matric class of 2018

2018-10-17 06:00

IT’S that time of the year again. Throughout South Africa, 787 281 matric candidates start on their final school exams this week — after 12 years of formal education they face the challenge of completing their secondary education successfully and moving on and forward.

There are 8 000 exam centres throughout the country.

An important inclusion in the 2018 exams is that, for the first time, deaf students are permitted to use sign language — a positive development by the Department of Education.

In KZN, 187 337 candidates are sitting for these exams.

The Greytown Gazette, on behalf of all its readers, wishes all matriculants the very best of luck.

Remember, burning the midnight oil to try to cram in last minute facts is not the route to go. Keep calm, plan a revision programme, eat healthy, exercise, and good luck!
