AMANDA Terblans lost out on the money as she was not present at the time of the draw. The next attendance draw will be on Friday with R900 up for grabs. Be here from 6.30pm and you could be the lucky winner.

The second Mascor Golf Business League match of 2016 was played on Saturday 4 June with eight teams participating.
The teams were Mascor, Just Cheese, CPS, Bracken Timbers, Pannar, GTN Development and GTN Umvoti. This league is contested over four Saturdays during the year and consists of teams of three players representing businesses from the Umvoti district.
t The Mascor Business League floating trophy is at stake, as well as bragging rights for next year.
The Mascor Monthly Mug for June was also played at the same time and it was clear from the scores that our greens have quickened up and the winter hardness of them (without adequate water resources due to the drought conditions) requires a difference approach on some of the holes.
That wily old fox from the Pannar team, Tienie Muller (men's captain), handled the conditions best and won the B division, and the Mug, with a superb 66 net. Second was Flip Botha on 68 net oco A division: 1st Mzwandile Thusi on 67 net. Second boy was Zuma 70 net.

Winning team was Bracken Timbers (107 pts), second was GTN Umvoti (105pts) and third Pannar (105pts). Pannar is still leading the "race to the Mascor shield", but the race is far from over. We thank Bracken Timbers for sponsoring the team prizes.

Next up is the Sanlam Cancer competition to be played on Saturday 18 June.
We call on all golfers to enter and support this very worthy cause. Entry list will be on the board at the club.

Dates to diarise:

11 June - Spar boerie run

18 June - Sanlam Cancer Challenge

25 June - Spar boerie run.
