Greytown Country Club news

THE Mascor Monthly Mug was played on Saturday October 21 by a good field of 24 players.

Due the effects of the most severe drought to have hit most of our country in many years, greenskeeper Wally has been struggling to do proper spring treatment of the golf course with the little rain we have had.

Our gratitude to members who are assisting him in this regard.

1st in B division and winner of the Mug - Henrico Corbett on 62 net

2nd - B. Ngonyama on 64 net.

1st - G. Larkaon 65 net oco

2nd - S. Buthelezi also on 65 net.

Six of our members will be playing in the KZN Men’s Inter-club Tournament this weekend.

The Greytown Golf Classic will be played on November 4.

This is our premier tournament of the year with excellent prizes and we urge all our golfers to enter and support our club. The entry list is on the board or contact the club to enter.

Happy Hour is on Friday October 27. Jan Swart is in the house. Please come and enjoy a great meal and music. Tickets available for the R1 000 draw at the bar.
