“ALL great careers start at the beginning. This statement may sound frivolous at first glance, but if one thinks about it, it must be true.

“Our last Hackers competition of 2017, which took place on Saturday December 9, may just be such a “beginning” for one or more of the novices who joined our golfers for this fun afternoon of American Scramble. “Each player won a prize and much fun was had by all. The winning team was Marthinus Steyn, Boy Zuma and Stefan and Antjie du Plessis.

“We would like to thank Wally, Ashley and the staff at Greytown Country Club for making golf such a pleasant experience at the club, and wish them and all our golfers a blessed and joyous Christmas, and a happy and healthy 2018, full of wonderful golf, and lots of rain.”

Thanks to members who attended on Friday. The winner of the draw was number 208, Bennie van Zyl, who was not present, which means the draw rolls over to R500 next Friday.
