Greytown Country Club news

2018-08-29 06:02

WEMBLEY College held their annual golf day on Saturday, August 25.

The day was a great success thanks to the wonderful support received from the players and generous sponsors. There was a full field of 72 players who braved very strong winds. We were once again supported by many golfers from other clubs such as Mooi River, Noodsberg, Gowrie, Maritzburg and Victoria. Wembley College would like to thank Greytown Country Club for hosting the day once again and for the hard work put in by Wally Kohne and his staff.

Thanks must also go to the Parents Association who worked tirelessly all day to make sure the golfers were well looked after.

Capitol Caterers provided a delicious meal for the 72 golfers and their families which followed the prize giving. A special mention must go to Umvoti Repairs who sponsored a Husqvarna ride on a mower for a hole-in-one on the 17th hole which was unfortunately not won this year.
