A GOOD field of 21 players played in the Mascor Monthly Mug on Saturday, February 2.

The recent rains in Greytown has done the golf course a world of good and greenkeeper Wally Kohne and his staff certainly made the most of it.

The winner of the Mug and A division was Oscar Ndawonde with a wonderful 66 nett off a two handicap. Second in A division was S Mchunu. B division first and St Cathryn’s winner was Marius Muller on 68 nett with Steve vd Merwe second on 70 nett. The Captain’s Putter went to Henrico Corbett.

The club thanked Mascor Greytown for sponsoring the monthly mug prizes.

Golfers are reminded of the Jaco Botha Memorial Golf Day that will be played on February 23. This year the worthy recipient of the proceeds will be Letcee.

The club urged golf members to attend the golf AGM which will be held on February 21 in the Pannar Lounge at 6pm.

The Business League winners of 2018 will receive their trophy at the beginning of the AGM.
