GREYTOWN Creative Fair, formerly called Greytown Arts Fair, is taking place in the Greytown Museum grounds on Sunday, July 29. This popular event features many local and regional artists and crafters, attracting many from Greytown and district communities.

Vibrant and interesting, the fair includes a wide range of crafts such as wooden furniture and products, metal work, handmade knives, dog sculptures, braai accessories, bee products, swimming costumes, ceramics and pottery, cheese, laser engravings, handbags and some fabulous crochet/embroidery items and fun things for the youngsters, Protea flowers, and organic herbal plants and creams.

SPCA will be manning the popular Tombola stall and are appealing for items for the stall.

These can be dropped off at theGreytown Gazette office, for collection by the SPCA, or phone 072 096 9634.

This is the third year the fair is being held and each year more and more members of the public, young an old, make their way to spend time there to enjoy themselves.

There will be a central food station with four main food vendors serving their food from this central island as well as other delicious bakes and savories available to take home.

You can even enjoy a refreshing craft beer or gin while wandering around, listening to talented musicians play. The fair organisers strive to be as environmentally friendly as possible, hence no plastic or polystyrene packaging. Local schools and community groups will be there to showcase their activities, services and entrepreneurial skills.

The organisers are inviting local crafters and artists to contact either Kate at 074 195 8131 or Suzanne at 082 452 5215.

The Greytown Creative Fair is a special event not to be missed —make a note of the date and be there!
