Greytown Creative Fair this July

2018-07-18 06:01

THE 2018 Greytown Creative Fair, set to take place in the grounds of Greytown Museum on Sunday, July 29, from 9 am to 2 pm, looks set to be even bigger and better than ever — a community get together not to be missed — say the organisers of the event.

New and exciting demonstrations, in addition to all those enjoyed last year, include the Biscuit Studio showing you how to bake, ice, stencil, biscuits, etc; a dog training demo by MJ to show how dogs can and should be trained as well as other new features like the two new bee stands — Lulu Bee sells an alternative to plastic wraps for use in the kitchen and environmental friendly bee beauty products; and an educational stand, run by Badger Aherin, will explain why bees are so important to us.

Music…there is no good fair without good music and there will be plenty of that to listen to you as you wander around the stalls or sit and enjoy a snack.

On the important food front, enjoy Leigh Ann of Green Bar’s very special gourmet sandwiches and breakfast rolls; Zee will have halaal bunny chows and curry; and finish off with delectable desserts and irresistible pancakes. Hermannsburg and Wembly Schools will be selling some treats at their entrepreneurial stands and Greytonians their well known biscuits and cookies at their stalls. For the thirsty, craft gin and craft beer will be sold by Tegg Distributors.

LETCEE personnel will entertain the younger ones whilst their parents wander round the market.

There is no charge but donations would be appreciated.

Join this special community event on Sunday July 29.
