Greytown Gazette update

THERE is one more issue of the Greytown Gazette this year - next Wednesday December 20.

The office closes that day and will reopen on Thursday January 11. The first issue of the Greytown Gazette in 2018 will be Wednesday January 17.

Deadlines for next week’s issue have been moved forward because of the public holiday Saturday December 16, Day of Reconciliation, and the start of the holiday season for many.

Please note that deadline for display advertisements and classifieds is tomorrow, 1pm Thursday December 14. Deadline for copy is 1pm on Friday December 15.

Usual deadlines will apply for the first issue in 2018 - Friday January 12 1pm for display advertising and Monday January 15, 10am for classifieds.

A reminder for the public to email stories, reports, photographs to the Greytown Gazette at for publication in the next issue. As Saturday is a public holiday, banks, etc., will be closed - supermarkets and some retailers will be open.
