GREYTOWN Giants played Drakensberg on Friday night, June 22. Excited to be playing on home ground, the team arrived positive and determined to give it their all. It was a cold evening but this didn’t keep spectators away from supporting their home team.

From the outset Greytown Giants were determinedly strong, managing to meet Drakensberg try for try. As the game progressed into the second half, Drakensberg gained a lead.

Greytown Giants, showing their muscle and true grit, didn’t give up. They defended and attacked right till the end of the game.

The team would like to thank the committee and their two very committed coaches, Gert Ferreira and Fergus Buchan for their unfailing encouragement and dedication. The regular, unfailing support of all the home supporters is also much appreciated.
