2018-07-04 06:01

Greytown Ladies’ Golf is alive and well with the local ladies bringing home the laurels, achieving an impressive victory over the visiting players from Maritzburg Golf Club.

Greytown Ladies Golf League team of Eve Drury, Shelley March and C. Spendlove, captained by Joanie Koller, took the Rovers team to a 78 — 66 victory over the visitors. The 27 holes of golf, nine holes of betterball, nine foursomes and nine singles were played in perfect weather. As is customary, the Greytown Country Club ladies hosted their Townie opponents, giving them a day to remember.
