PUPILS at Indlovana Primary celebrated World Read Aloud Day on Friday, February 1.

The aim of celebrating this day is to build many important foundational skills, introduce vocabulary, provide a model of fluent, expressive reading and help children recognise what reading for pleasure is all about.

The day was celebrated through reading stories and poems both in English and IsiZulu and drama.
