IT is one of the most popular events for cyclists and runners. The Harburg aQuellé Tour de Krantz takes place on Saturday 20 August, with this year, an even larger choice in track and trail. The mountain bike challenges range from 45km (starting 8.30am), 25km (starting 9am), the 10km, which starts at 9.30am and the youngster's starting time is 9.40am.Runners have the choice of a 10km or five-kilometre trail - starting at 7.30am and 7.45am respectively. The brave are encouraged to try out a combination of events and test their boundaries.Registration costs range from R50 to R150 depending on the event, and a late entry fee is charged for entries after 18 August. Known as "a taste of Germany" visitors can enjoy delicious food, the farmer's market, which opens at 12pm, and the enjoyable music of a German Oompah band throughout the day.
