Helping communities grow

GREYTOWN Beer Distributors and Pietermaritzburg Depot recently donated 470 50 kg bags of fertiliser and 74 units of 16- litre insecticide to Emalomeni Farming Association in Tugela Ferry.

This was part of an outreach campaign initiated by SA Breweries East Coast Region in an effort to support farmers and communities in the region and in recognition of the vital part agriculture plays in the economy and business.

The Mayor of uMsinga Local Municipality councillor B.P. Ngcobo, Inkosi yaBa Thembu, Daba Mvelase and committee members received the donation with gratitude. Greytown Beer Distributors and PMB Depot are to be congratulated for contributing so generously to this community.

CPS Seedlings of Greytown pledged to assist the community by supplying seedlings from which they can grow quality food crops.

It is envisaged that this produce can be sold to formal markets in the area.
