Hermannsburg Church Bazaar

2016-08-31 06:00

IT is time to stock up on German speciality meats at the annual Hermannsburg Church Bazaar at the Beehive on Saturday 3 September. Lunch will be available from 12pm and the popular meat sale opens for senior citizens at 12.45pm, and at 1pm for the not so aged. There will also be lots of homemade goodies, as well as arts and crafts for sale.

Book lovers can browse through the extensive second-hand book collection or perhaps find something special in the second-hand clothing section or the White Elephant stall - after all - one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

Later in the afternoon, you can join in (or just have fun watching) traditional German games, such as Bierkelchhalten and Hammerschlagen for the adults. There will also be fun games, activities and loads of friends for the little ones.

In the evening, there’ll be Kassler on sale, but get there early to purchase your supper tickets, as stocks are limited.

All are welcome - from 12pm until late.
