TASTY traditional German food and speciality meats, the toe-tapping music of the Oompah Band and lots of fun - all at the annual Hermannsburg Church bazaar at the Beehive from 11.30am this Saturday. Lunch will be available from 12pm and the meat sale opens for senior citizens at 12.45pm and 1pm for all others. Lots of homemade goodies, as well as arts and crafts for sale, or relax with a cuppa and traditional German cake in the Kaffeestube.Book lovers can browse through the extensive second-hand book collection, or perhaps find something special in the White Elephant stall - after all - one man's junk is another man's treasure.In the afternoon join in (or just have fun watching) traditional German games, such as Bierkelchhalten and Hammerschlagen for the adults. There will also be fun games, pony rides, activities and loads of friends for the little ones.The local Oompah Band is back in full force again this year, so stay on for a treat of traditional German Oompah music in the late afternoon and evening, while enjoying a scrumptious spit-braai supper. Get there early to purchase your supper tickets, as stocks are limited. All welcome.
