OUR annual speech and drama festival was held on 15 September and once again pupils displayed their polished speech and drama skills, doing themselves and our school proud with 25 As and 19 Bs. The adjudicator was very impressed by our pupils good manners, the way they presented themselves and how well they presented their poems and other items. Grade 2; Ayanda Mananga, Ebrahim Muhammad, Mhleli Ngobese, Chloe Rose Pope. Grade 3: Ariya Khan, Aamina Mahomed, Matteo Risch. Grade 4: Matthew du Preez, Shaakirah Ebrahim. Grade 5; Desireé Surendorff, Tushar Lutchmanlall, Carolina Hoffmann. Grade 5: German Group; Carolina Hoffmann, Tushar Lutchmanlall, Desireé Surendorff, Liam Uys. Grade 6: Kayla Shearing, Jarrod Dukhi, Zail Rubieparsad. Grade 7: Zahra Mahomed. Grade 9: Jemma Hayward; the German group: Londeka Ndlela, Zenande Magubane, Noncebo Mene and Nqobile Sithole.On the athletics field and track our primary school participated in the inter-schools athletics on 14 September. Julian Königkrämer was the U11 champion on the day, breaking two records (U11 100m and shot put, and placed second in long jump). Matthew du Preez placed second in U10 high jump, Andiswa Gabela second in U9 high jump, Siena Kimble second in U13 150m, and our U9 girls came second in the 4x100m relay.
