Thanks to Günther Meyer, the Grade 11 Life Sciences class had the opportunity to dissect a calf, and see for themselves how wonderfully all the organs fit together and how they are constructed.

AFTER the short Easter holiday, we welcomed back our pupils and teachers, and the term is already in full swing.

Our new music director, Johan Grobler, is settling in and we are looking forward to the interaction with the student and teachers from Cedar College in our primary and high school.

This term promises to be a busy but fun term, as we look forward to the inter-house general knowledge quiz, HMB Fun Ride, Greytown MTB Classic, regional Enviroquiz, Schulfest and many other fun activities.

We said farewell to our German visitors, who left for Germany last Tuesday, and our Grade 10s look forward to seeing them again in Germany in May, when they will conclude this year’s Germany Exchange Programme with a four-week stay with their guest families in Germany. We thank the teachers — Mesdames Olivier, Walton and Scherer and Mr Moll — for their patience and organisation and lots of hard work to make the Exchange possible.
