TO stay fit and healthy we need to eat a balanced diet, which includes eating fruit every day. Fruits are important sources of many nutrients, including potassium, fibre, vitamin C and folate (folic acid) - the Little Oaks learnt these and other interesting facts about fruit in their groups last week.

They also learnt that differently coloured fruits have different health benefits, so they cut up differently coloured fruit as they could to make colourful fruit sticks - and eating fresh fruit is even better for you than a glass of fruit juice.
