Hermannsburg Little Oaks’ Oracle

2016-07-13 06:00

A VISIT to the Hermannsburg library was an exciting experience for all our Little Oaks at the end of last term.
The librarian, Mrs Risch, showed them around and explained about the different kinds of books one finds in a library - big, small, fat and thin books on all sorts of topics.
They learnt how to turn the page of a book correctly, that their hands should be clean and that one is not allowed to eat or drink when looking at a book.
The visit ended with Mrs Risch reading a story to the Little Oaks.
