GRADUATION and the ABC Schützenfest are two established Hermannsburg traditions for the Little Oaks and Grade 1s and this year 20 Little Oaks graduated and said good-bye to the other Kindergarten pupils with a dramatisation of the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, which they rounded off with rendition of the song of Sleeping Beauty from the German play.

A slideshow, with a commentary from Ms Micayla Reineke and Ms Annette Gathmann, showed off all the great moments of this year’s experiences in the Kindergarten.

Our Little Oaks looked smart and proud in their graduation gowns as they were handed their graduation certificates, after which they were welcomed with the poem Opposite day by Ken Nesbitt, performed by the Grade 1 pupils. We wish our Little Oaks all the best as they go forward into Grade 1, and express a special word of thanks to Mrs Uta Malzahn, who so ably leads the Little Oaks Kindergarten.
