FIELD trips give our Little Oaks valuable educational experiences away from their regular school environment where they learn in a more hands-on and interactive manner than they do in school.

Last week we visited Mr Rainer Kasssier’s vegetable patch, where our pupils saw where fruit and vegetables are grown for distribution and sale.

Everyone was very excited to see how the vegetables they eat are grown on the farm. Learning in different ways can appeal to varied learning styles, helping children to succeed - whether they are visual, auditory or kinetic learners. Our pupils are now aware of the efforts of the farmers in growing the vegetables, and how to lead a healthy life by consuming them. A big thank you to Rainer and Renate Kassier for opening their farm to us.
