OUR world is filled with many things worthy of scientific inquiry, which is why scientific literacy has become a necessity as early on as pre-school. In our Kindergarten we start to build a basis for future scientific understanding as our Little Oaks begin to build an understanding of basic concepts, and how they connect and apply to the world in which they live. With our last theme “weather and seasons”, our Little Oaks had the opportunity to learn how important water is to life on Earth, as well its many amazing uses and properties. They learnt about ice, steam, snow, drinking water, oceans, water pollution, rivers, the water cycle and much more. Our next theme, “wild animals”, promises to be just as exciting and thought-provoking.
