MAGICIANS have the ability to capture our imaginations and Curdin Caviezel, an actor from Germany, did just that when he visited our school last week and performed magic tricks for the Little Oaks and the Grade 1 to 3 pupils.

His fun and energetic performances ensured that everyone was spellbound during his presentation.

He also talked to the Grade 4 to 7 pupils about his work as an actor, and how to loosen your body before a show.

Caviezel engaged the pupils in acting out roles such as being a king, a clown and an old man.

The high school Grade 8 and 11 pupils were able to chat with him about theatre and how to bring Shakespeare alive, opening up their horizons as well.

Our thanks goes to Caviezel for sharing his time and talent.
