High school expo at Martin House in Zambia

LAST week Dederick Swart and Louise Yeadon had the pleasure of visiting Martin House School in Zambia. The school is tucked away on Kalundu Farm, Chisamba, 55km from Lusaka.
Once a year Martin House hosts and organises a high school expo on their school grounds with schools attending from all over southern Africa. Martin House in Chibombo is surrounded by 80 hectares of indigenous bush.

This unique experience allowed Wembley the opportunity to meet primary school pupils from all over Zambia who were participating in the sport matches at the school.
This event is part of Wembley’s marketing strategy to attract pupils to our high school in the Midlands.
Zambia is the perfect place to market our high school as pupils in Zambia also use the Cambridge system.  Wembley has been using the Cambridge system for 20 years. Many of the children at Martin House also live on farms and enjoy life in the country.
We share a similar school ethos focusing on country and family values. Martin House prides itself on kindness, care and giving. It is evident in the attitude of their polite pupils who greet you with warm enthusiasm.
The school introduced a campaign called Randon Acts of Kindness to make children aware of the small things in life which can make a difference. This is an idea Wembley would like to introduce into the school next term.
