THE Greytown Hospital hosted the Zazi camp for the very first time and it was a success and a memorable experience for our Grade 8 girls at Greytown Junior. The management of Greytown Hospital wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to parents and principals of the above-mentioned schools for entrusting us with their girls. To our partners and sponsors: we are lost for words — this camp would not have been a success without your support and sponsorship. Firstly, we would like to thank the hospital board for seeking sponsors on our behalf, the Umvoti Municipality, World Vision, Mascor Toyota, Mondi, Corteva (Pannar Seed), Mdlovana Pharmacy, Mrs Gangayi, Umvoti Aids Centre, Sizabantu (aQuella), Aheers, Min Cash, Love Life, Action Aid, LifeLine, Harmony Retreat, and last, but not least, special recognition to the Department of Education for providing a venue for our girls’ and who were present from conception of the concept until the end. Our girls had a pleasant stay at Greytown Junior. Thank you to Mrs Chetty and the staff of Greytown Junior. Thank you to the learning support assistants who were with us from start to finish. SAPS team: your dedication does not go unnoticed, and Radio Khwezi: your support and exposure was amazing. To the Department of Health staff and management we say a job well done — may you continue to raise the bar and live the Batho Pele principles. To our beautiful girls: know yourself, know strength and let no one or anything pull you down because you are fearfully and wonderfully made. — Supplied.
