WITH regards to your “Keep Umvoti Clean” campaign: How do we keep Umvoti clean?

From the image supplied you can see that people are illegally dumping everywhere except in the legal designated dumping sites. Throughout Kranskop, bush and weeds grow freely, even in the church premises and along the main road.

This bush and illegal dumping of refuse is both a health and a security risk. What laws are in place to ensure that people keep their properties clean and weed free?

What is the duty of the Umvoti Municipality refuse collection tractor and trailer that regularly drives past these piles of rubbish but does nothing about removing the mess?
