On Saturday 11 February , Wartburg Kirchdorf School hosted the 13th annual

Illovo Wartburg MTB Classic & Trail Run, sponsored  once again by the Illovo Sugar.

With over 930 enthusiastic cyclists and trail runners making the journey to Wartburg, they came to cycle and run through some of the most beautiful and scenic farms in the country, in slightly warm but really perfect conditions.

Needless to say the event would not be possible without the support of sponsors and farmers who kindly allow the race to pass through their land.
A special thanks to the Umshwathi Traffic and Wartburg SAPS for their assistance on the roads as well as KZN MTB/CSA for their support and officiating at the race.
