LAST week was busy, but exciting for Indlovana Primary School as the school said farewell to seven staff members and hosted this year’s Youth Language Festival.

On Tuesday 17 May school personnel hosted the farewell function for Mrs Z.P. Ngcobo, Ms T.C. Ndlovu, Ms Z.C. Shangase, Mrs B.E. Xaba, Mrs E. Khumalo, Ms N.P. Khumalo and school cook, Ms M. Zondi who were thanked by the principal, Mrs Mngadi, for their contribution to the school.
The function was honoured by the presence of the school’s retired principal, Mr M.P. Ndlovu.
Indlovana pupils did well in the Youth Language Festival last week coming third in English story telling and drama and first in group musical poetry – this group will represent Umvoti CMC in a district competition in June.

The principal and school governing body invite parents to a meeting on Sunday 29 May at 8.30am, where parents can view their children’s schoolwork. - H.W. Xulu.
