Insurance company distances itself from cancelled festival

FOLLOWING a letter that was published in the Greytown Gazette last week titled “Botched festival — residents want answers”, 1Life Insurance Company responded and distanced itself from the allegations.

Account director Nicole Allman said: “We just wanted to reach out to provide a comment from 1Life for clarity, based on 1Life Insurance being mentioned in the story.

“In light of the story published on News24 for Greytown Gazette on February 13 entitled ‘Botched festival — residents want answers’, please be aware that 1Life was not a partner or sponsor of the Daisy Creek Festival in any way or at any stage.

“1Life made no agreements with the organisers of this event, and the brand name is being linked to this event with no permission provided. We trust this provides clarity based on the mention to 1Life in the [letter].”
