THE G911 board of directors have issued the following press statement about the appointment of the new G911 manager.
“Charles Haden has been appointed the new manager at Golf 911. He is no stranger to our area and has been living and working in the Umvoti district since 1998. Charles is well known in the agricultural and forestry sector and since 2012 has been the Fire Protection Officer for the Umvoti Fire Protection Association (UFPA).
His energy, enthusiasm and passion for the community have seen this organisation go from strength to strength. Charles sees many synergies with his new role at Golf 911 and the UFPA.

So what does Charles say are some of his goals for Golf 911 over the next 12 months?

• Ensuring the continued smooth running of the control room.

• Developing positive relations with the Municipality, South African Police, Road Traffic Inspectorate, Emergency services and Private Security organisation.

• Improving communication and awareness throughout our community, and rolling out a new SMS communication system that will be run from the Golf 911 control room.

• Update the data capturing system containing the communities’ information.

• Implementing a project (in conjunction with the Umvoti Agricultural Society) to bring vehicle registration plate recognition technology to our area.

• Fund raising for the G911.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave Carroll for all he has done for G911 and wish him success in his new venture. Dave will remain on the board of G911 as director.”

Contact G911 any time on 033 417 2911 or 076 402 7772.
