OUR corridors were abuzz with exhilaration and anticipation from the moment our Foundation Phase pupils walked through the gate on Thursday 23 March.

Our JP Fun Day is a much anticipated event on the term calendar and this year pupils’ expectations were exceeded. The day's activities included friendly soccer matches, face painting, sand art, a jumping castle, cupcake decorating and fun art.

There were great prizes up for grabs at the balloon popping and fishing games and pupils had hours of fun with the various items they had purchased from the novelty and snack shop. Our little ones showed off their talents in a dance competition.

In serious need of a recharge, pupils indulged in a hot dog meal. The day ended with a refreshing ice cream, sponsored by one of our Foundation Phase teachers, Ms Mseleku.

We would like to thank our dedicated team of teachers for their tireless effort in making the day unforgettable for our pupils.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to Mrs Sonnet Scholtz for sponsoring the jumping castle, Plennegy Printing, Ms Shamla Naidoo, Janoos Wholesalers, and Aheers Supermarket for their excellent service and assistance.

Netball trials (Ward Level) results 29 March: Greytown Junior School is proud of our netball players who were selected to compete at district level in Dundee next term. They are U13: Dlamini Zama, Mkhize Snethemba, Gasa Sisanda, Zuma Aphiwe. U12: Mzila Vuyolwethu, Dlamini Nomvelo, Dlomo Elihle, Hlombe Luthando and Zakwe Awande.
