ON 2 May Grade 1 and 2 girls travelled to Hermannsburg to take part in a hockey tournament. The girls were very excited and enjoyed every game. 


Grade 1: vs Hermannsburg won 1-0

vs New Hanover won  2-0

vs New Hanover won 3-0

Grade 2: vs New Hanover lost  1-0

vs Wartburg won 1-0

On Wednesday 3 May the mini-rugby sides travelled to St Charles, accompanied by Mr Stanczyk and  Mrs Billinge.  The Grade 1 side played two games. Their first game was against Gert Maritz which they won 15-5, their second game was against St Charles, but were unable to maintain momentum leaving the final score at 15-5 to St Charles. The Grade 2 side also played two games. The first game they lost 25-10 to St Charles and the second game against Gert Maritz they lost 25-5. These being their first games played this season the players showed a lot of potential and great team spirit. 

Our netball girls went to the Umzinyathi trials on Wednesday 3 May. 
Congratulations to U12 Mzila Vuyolwethu and Dlomo Elihle on being selected to play in the provincials in Durban.

On 4 May the U12 and U13  girls took part in the final Umzinyathi District hockey trials. Lizelle Green and Zamandozi Matiwane were selected for the U12 team and  Michaela Dutton was selected as a non-travelling reserve. 
The girls will take part in the Inland trials in Pietermaritzburg.
