GREYTOWN Junior School Grade 3 pupils participated in the KZN Department of Education Spelling Bee at cluster level on September 22 at the school.

The participating schools were Greytown Primary and Greytown Junior.

The three participants from Greytown Junior obtained 100% in the first round. Two pupils excelled in the final oral component and will now represent our school in the circuit level Spelling Bee.

Our three participants made us proud and we are looking forward to the next level.

On September 22 Greytown Junior School celebrated Heritage Month.

Pupils came to school dressed in their traditional attire and the fun did not stop there. The celebration show that followed included various performances including dances, poems, songs and plays.

All grades participated, expressed their proud heritage and showcased their many talents. The celebration was enjoyed by all and a special thank you to parents, pupils and Mrs Mzila, who co-ordinated the day.
