THE U11 cricket team played against Wembley College on Wednesday November 1 at Wembley.

Greytown won the toss and selected to bowl first. Greytown started off well with early wickets falling in succession and putting Wembley on the back foot, Wembley responded well making 70 runs from 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Greytown came in to bat and made 50 runs at the end of the 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets, losing the game by 20 runs. The game provided both teams with much needed experience and was enjoyed by all.

The Young Lions - five children from our school attend the karate club at Greytown Fitness World. They enjoy learning the moves and have participated in tournaments around KZN.

Fikile Mabuza has done particularly well. She has attained a 1st-place trophy for kata, a third-place trophy for fighting and a medal for best spirited fighter.

Andiswa Myaka was awarded an improvement medal for attaining third place in kata.
