ON Tuesday December 5 Greytown Junior School held its annual prize giving to celebrate and award the school’s top achievers both in the classroom and on the sports field.

The hall was filled with eager and exited pupils, parents, family and friends.

Beginning with a report on the school’s progress by the principal, Mr S.J. Nel, the ceremony moved on with entertainment from the school’s choir followed by the senior primary awards.

Pupils were awarded for their hard work and their excellent achievements showed they always “aim high”. The guest of honour, Mr Conrad Fourie, spoke about how hard work and perseverance will allow them to reap many rewards in the future.
