ON Thursday, May 3 the U13 hockey girls played against Wartburg. The girls were very competitive and showed great skills, drawing their game 2-2. The U11 hockey girls played against Wartburg. They played very well and won their game 3-0.

The U10 girls faced Wartburg. They played well and won 3-2.

Greytown Junior attended a Sevens tournament against various schools hosted by Wembley.

The U13 rugby team played six games — the first a 29-0 win against Wembley.

The second a 32-0 victory against Treverton 2.

The third was a 42-0 win against New Hanover 2.

The fourth a 28-0 win against Treverton 1.

The fifth game was a 26-0 win against Clarendon and the sixth and final clash was a 12-12 draw against New Hanover.

The U11 rugby team also participated in the Sevens tournament at Wembley and played four games.

The boys showed good teamwork and skill.

The results were as follows:

Greytown vs New Hanover: 15-10 in Greytown’s favour.

Greytown vs Clarendon B: 25-0 in Greytown’s favour.

Greytown vs Clarendon A: 20-10 in Clarendon’s favour.

Greytown vs Wembley: 15-0 in Greytown’s favour.

The U10, U11 and U13 hockey girls participated in a hockey festival at Wembley College.

All the girls were outstanding and enjoyed the festival.


U10 vs Wartburg 1-1, vs Clarendon lost 1-0, vs New Hanover lost 2-0, vs Wembley lost 2-1;

U11 vs New Hanover lost 1-0, vs Wembly won 3-0, vs Pelham won 1-0;

U13 vs Treverton B won 2-0, vs Treverton A 0-0 draw, vs New Hanover 0-0 draw, vs Wartburg 0-0 draw.

The U9 hockey team took part in an exciting tournament at Wembley on Saturday, May 5.

They were victorious in three of their games and only lost one.
