Mini Cricket

On February 26, our Grade 1 and Grade 2 mini cricket sides played against Kammaland.

The Grade 2 side made 37 runs for the loss of four wickets. Kammaland made 11 runs for the loss of five wickets.

The Grade 1 side made 32 runs for the loss of four wickets and Kammaland made 16 runs for the loss of eight wickets.

Well done to all the players.

Umzinyathi District Hockey

On February 27, the following girls were selected for the U12 and U13 uMzinyathi District Hockey Team and played well. The girls qualified to play in the district tournament in Pietermaritzburg next term. We are proud of the following girls who were chosen: Andiswa Myaka; Thembekile Khubela; Ezinhle Ximba; Luleko Nala; Kuhlekonke Mkhize; Zikhona Ndlovu; Yumna Hattia and Princess Zuma­. We are proud of you.

Ralph Caewood Rugby Series

On March 1, Greytown Junior travelled to Pietermaritzburg and played three games in the Ralph Cawood series. The results were as follows: The first game was a 39-0 win against Pelham, the second game was a 5-0 loss against Scottsville and the final game was a 5-0 win against Cowan House.
