GREYTOWN Kinderhuis this Saturday, October 21, is proud- ly celebrating its 98th birth- day. From a modest start in 1918, it has grown into the largest welfare organisation in Greytown caring for more than 150 vulnerable children. The Kinderhuis vision motivates all involved to remember daily that the love of God inspires us to live and work for healthy children in a healthy community. Dedicated staff strive, despite major challenges, to provide quality service to every child in the centre.On Saturday, October 21 this important anniversary will be celebrated in style at a special event at the Kinderhuis – and the community of Greytown is invited to attend from 10.30am. The formal programme of choir music, traditional dances and other cultural activities will start at 11am, then the trampolines and swimming pool will open and guest will have the opportunity to view the premises.Boerewors rolls and pancakes, cake and coffee will on sale in the hall. Tickets will be on sale at the Durban Street gate - R15 per person or R50 per family of five from 10.30am to 5pm.
