Kranskop Primary School news

2017-02-01 06:02

IT has been a long time since Kranskop Primary School participated in the Umvoti athletics competition, but this year we decided to join in and it turned out to be an amazing event.

Although our pupils did not have enough time to practice they were able to do us proud. Thabiso Mkhize in Grade 4 won the 100m race and Sphamndla Dladla in Grade 7 won the 200m race in the heat category. Nothando Zulu in Grade 7 came second in 100m race and Nthethelelo Mnomiya in Grade 6 came third in the same race.

This was a learning curve for team organisers and athletes as there is a lot to learn about athletics.
As a school we are going to commit and dedicate ourselves more in terms of training and getting the depth of this amazing sport. Well done to all pupils who participated.
