KWELIFUPHI Primary School pupils have had a really good year and the achievers were awarded at prize giving on Thursday November 2.

It was pleasing to see the level of good competition especially in Grade 6 and Grade 7. Grade 5’s Andiswa Zakwe was overall the top performer with an outstanding six out of seven academic awards.

Thandolwethu Como represented Umngeni CMC in the Spelling Bee competition under Umgungundlovu District, while Snenhlanhla Chamane will represent Umgungundlovu District at the provincial language festival competition.

The principal Mrs Z.A. Gumede congratulated all the top achievers for raising the flag of the school high.

She said co-operation among the parents, teachers and pupils yielded good results .
