UMVOTI Aids Centre (UAC) has been very fortunate to be acquainted with kind and generous individuals that wish us success in continuing our work. Kevin Reddy is one of our very close friends who continuously supports the centre and recently brought Easter goodies for the children.

Reddy said: “I returned to UAC for closure after my father passed away last year. I have many fond memories of growing up there as a child, kicking a soccer ball with my dad and climbing the mulberry tree (which is still there).

“While I was standing in the yard, I looked at the children playing games and making memories similar to my own and I realised I could use my skills and connections to help make a difference in their lives.

“UAC is really doing amazing work and they need help to continue reaching out to the less fortunate in the community. My goal is to see UAC becoming completely self-sustaining.

“Funding is always a challenge and I am doing my best to help them obtain additional funds for their current and future projects. Contact the centre and find out how you can help.Together we can make a difference in the community.”

The centre can be reached at 033 413 2745/6 and 064 870 5351.
