LITTLE Elephant School enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Bruss farm last week.

The children fed the ostriches, donkey, and blesbok, and helped Mr Bruss and Brian feed the impala.

Leeann Bruss made delicious muffins to enjoy in her garden after which farmer Deon loaded all the children onto the tractor to adventure to the cabbage fields.

Here each of the children got to pick a cabbage to take home to cook.

There was great excitement when the final order of the day included getting as muddy as possible in the dam (sorry parents but it had to be done).

A group of very happy, quiet, and tired children ended off the day with a trip home that proved outdoor education is still the best form of teaching.
