THERE are a number of events happening in the next two weeks details of which have been published in the Greytown Gazette - some brief reminders ...

Saturday 21: 10.30am to 5pm - Greytown Kinderhuis is celebrating its 98th birthday with song, dance, swimming etc. Entry R15 per person, R50 family of five. Boerewors rolls and pancakes on sales.

Saturday 28: 9am to 2pm - Pink October Shavathon, Sprayathon in aid of cancer charities - cuppa for cancer and cupcakes on sale.

Campaign to bring awareness about cancer and lifestyle options in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Follow the pink balloons to Taylors down St Clement’s Lane.

Saturday 28: 9am - jumble sale for Whiskers and Wagtails fund. Look out for the balloons in Durban Street.

Sunday 29: 10am to 2pm - Barnyard Market, Jabulani farm, district road 76. Lots of handcrafts, petting area with small animals for the youngsters, tea and cakes, pet accessories, jams, preserves and more.

Tuesday 31: 9.30am - Greytown Garden Club 121st celebration, talk and demo. Flowers through the NG Kerk, tea and cakes, garden-related items on sale. R25 members, R50 visitors. Wednesday November 1. Open day 10am to 2pm to view flowers through the church.
